SERIES 6400 is a single chamber aero-kinetic water air valve, which designed to prevent dynamic closure under higher air velocity. Valves shall be of single chamber double orifice three functions combination air valves and automatic float operated. The valve shall provide 4-functions: (1) Entrance large volumes of air during pipeline draining or negative pressure condition e.g. power failures, and sudden pump stoppage (water hammer conditions) from large orifice (2) Releasing large volumes of air during pipeline filling (from large orifice), (3) Releasing small volumes of air during working (pipeline and valve under pressure) from Nozzle or small orifice. Accumulates in the upper part of the valve body, little by little it is compressed and released automatically, and (4) Limiting of the air flow velocity during discharge condition when uncontrolled or high velocity pipeline filling, this causes an air-cushion in the pipeline, lowering high speed of water running which follows air, reducing the risk of induced impact (surge) and maintain safe closure of the main float.
• Single chamber full bore body in ductile cast iron, PN 25 bar rated.
• Aerodynamic mechanism to avoid premature closures (at low air velocities) of the mobile block.
• Mobile block consists of a cylindrical polypropylene float assembly. Float components joined together accurately to avoid deformations, and ensure a great sliding precision inside the body.
• Advanced design with simple mechanism, strong float to prevent cracking during sudden water hammer and quick closure.
• Aerokinetic mechanism to resist blow shut under higher air velocity even up to sonic velocity of air.
• No arms or levers to prevent vibrating, bending, direct closure of the float. Guide stems, keep float moving in specified guide rail.
• Fully fusion epoxy coated inside and outside of valve body for long term services.
• Maintenance can be easily performed from the top without removing the air valve from the pipe
